about

Rachel is a potter from the eccentric and vibrant neighborhood of Irvington Indianapolis. This area is the largest protected historic district in Indy and has the largest Halloween celebration in the city.

Rachel works out of a community studio on the near eastside that values inclusivity and community.

She enjoys making mugs, teapots, and clocks. She is currently exploring sgraffito to add decorative elements to her work. All of her pieces are handmade on the wheel.

In the future, she would like to start harvesting wild clay from the local forests surrounding the city and incorporating it into her work.
